We spent a few minutes with Twin B on her way out to Children's Hospital where she is in NICU. We just got back from NICU here to see Twin A. I wish we had names so we could refer to them by name. We hope to have that figured out soon. Twin A needs lots and lots of prayer. She has a tough road ahead of her as she has for many weeks. She is just so tiny and her little lungs are doing everything they can right now. Her nurse said she expects her to get worse before she gets better. She has a couple of other things going on physically but not as critical as her lungs. Mary and I will be going over to Children's Hospital a little later to check in on Twin B. Her lungs are in much better condition but is still on CPAP. They will begin evaluating her heart condition to see for sure what the issue is. They said it doesn't appear to be an immediate concern at this point. We are doing ok, considering everything that has happened. We pray that God will continue performing miracles and make our girls stronger every minute.
Praying for all of you. Please let us know what we can do. Praying for God to make the girls strong.

Since I couldn't be there to hold your hands and pray with you today....
ReplyDeleteGod of wonders and miracles, great Healer, God of power that nothing can compare to and love that nothing can compare to, please watch over these two miracles. Since their parents can't hold them yet please hold them and help them feel love, warmth, and safety. Also please hold Jessica and Brandon. Surround them with Your presence. Give them the peace that passes all understanding that only comes from You. Give them strength to make it through each second they are caring for ALL their girls. Help them get some rest as well Lord. I pray Jessica will be able to heal and recover quickly.
Guide every doctor and nurse that is or will be involved with the twins. Guide their eyes, hands, and minds so they can know the best way to care for the babies.
Finally, Lord please strengthen and heal and develop these babies. We know you knit them together in the womb and that You know everything they need. Please strengthen the lungs, heal the heart, and just provide what each baby needs to grow and develop.
Lord we love You and trust You. We believe in You with all our hearts. In Jesus Name, Amen.
I promise to keep praying. We love you guys!

We love you guys and lift up this prayer:
ReplyDelete"you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden for you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
Lord you know these baby girls and the plans you have for them. Please be the hands, eyes, and minds of these doctors so they will be under the care of the almighty surgeon. We ask for healing in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also come to ask for peace for Brandon and Jessica. Please hold them in your hands and give them the strength they need to be there for their girls.
We ask all of these things in your powerful name. The name of Jesus. Amen.
I don't know if you have recieved any of my messages, but you are continually in my prayers and thoughts.

Lord, I thank you for these precious baby girls and I pray that you will wrap your arms around them right now. I pray for knowledge, and compassion for all of the wonderful doctors and nurses caring for them. I ask that you will strengthen the babies and help them grow and thrive, and help them feel the love that everyone has for them. Please fill Brandon and Jessica with a sense of peace that these little girls will be okay. I pray for Jessica, that she will heal quickly so that she can focus all of her energy on her babies. I pray that Brandon can balance caring for the girls and Jessica, yet still take care of himself. Only you Lord, know the plan for this family, and I just ask for the comfort of your loving arms on each and every member of this family. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
